How is today like the days just before the flood?
Today mirrors the days before the flood because God's grace remains open, like the ark's door and gangplank were left down for seven days, yet people refuse to enter the ark of safety. Soon, as then, grace will end, the curtain will drop, and God's wrath will come.
Les explains that just before the flood came, the ark was ready and everything was in it. God left the door open and the gangplank down for seven days, so anyone of that generation could have entered the ark of safety. But not a one did. Les says it is the same way today. God's grace and mercy are still available, but one of these days—and he thinks we are getting closer and closer—God's grace will come to an end. He will drop the curtain, and His awful wrath and vexation will come. This also ties to the call, "Come out of her, My people," meaning believers are to separate from the ungodly, wicked world, being in the world but not of it.
