Who should pay attention to the warning about being ready for the rapture?
The admonition to be ready for the rapture is for those who are not ready to meet the Lord—the unsaved and unprepared. They should consider God's offer of salvation while the time is still available, because the rapture will take believers out before the final judgments of God.
Les explains that this warning is an admonition for those who are not ready to meet the Lord and to be raptured out of all this. He urges them to certainly consider God's offer of salvation while yet the time is available. The context shows God's wrath will be consummated in the final seven judgments, called the vials or bowl judgments. In heaven, the martyred tribulation saints are seen standing on the sea of glass, having gotten victory over the beast, his image, his mark, and the number of his name.
