What is the qualification for the rapture?

According to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, the qualification for the rapture is believing that Jesus died and rose again. This belief places a person in the company that will be called out. The passage is described as the qualifications for the rapture, requiring faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Les explains that 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 presents the qualifications for the rapture. He says this is all you need to be in the great company that will one day be called out of here: believing that Jesus died and rose again. He ties this to the mystery revealed to Paul, that not all will sleep but all will be changed, and calls it the outcalling or rapture of the church. He also shares an illustration of a highly educated man who struggled to believe the resurrection but accepted the rest.

1 Thessalonians 4:14

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
