Over what did the tribulation saints gain victory in Revelation 15?
The tribulation saints gained victory over the beast—the Antichrist indwelt by Satan—and over his image, his mark, and the number of his name. They had been martyred and were already in the Lord’s presence in glory, standing on the sea of glass with harps of God.
Les teaches that Revelation 15:2 shows the martyred tribulation saints already in the Lord’s presence in glory. They had gained the victory over the beast—the Antichrist—and over Satan, who is indwelling him, as well as over his image, his mark, and the number of his name. They stand on a sea of glass mingled with fire, holding the harps of God. In verse 3 they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb—two separate songs—with the song of Moses pointing back to Exodus 15 after Israel came through the Red Sea.
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
