What will believers do on the new earth?
On the new earth, believers will be intensely busy and active in a productive, glorious kingdom economy, not idle or bored. They will engage in tremendous activity and production under Christ, who will be all in all, as an extension of the kingdom pattern. God created them for activity and busyness.
Les teaches that the new earth will be the abode of those who have believed unto eternal life, with Christ all in all. It will be an extension of the kingdom economy—an earth of tremendous production and tremendous activity. Believers will not sit around bored, strumming harps, or doing nothing but shouting hallelujah, though that will be part and parcel. Instead, they will be intensely busy, active, and glorious, because God never created us to be idle but to be active and busy. The eternal state follows the same pattern as the millennial kingdom.
