What does Satan do when a believer fails?
When a believer fails, Satan immediately reports in before the Lord, accusing the believer day and night. He points out the failure and says, “Aha! You see what that person did? I thought he was one of yours.” He watches every move and is right there the minute failure occurs.
Les teaches that not only is the world watching every move we make, but Satan is watching too. The minute we fail, he is right up there. Satan is constantly accusing us before the Lord day and night, and every time he sees us fail, he immediately reports in, saying, “Aha! You see what that person did? I thought he was one of yours.” Les then points to 1 John 2:1, where John addresses believers as “My little children” and writes that they sin not. God’s first choice is that we do not sin, but He knows we will because we are human.
