How and when does Satan attack believers?
Satan attacks believers when they least expect it, from the blind side, at their weakest moment. He strikes when they are alone or lacking support, as with Eve. No believer, however mature, gets past this; constant vigilance and returning to the Word are required.
Les explains that Satan always knows when to catch us. Every believer, no matter how mature in the Christian faith, must be constantly on guard, because when we least expect it, that is when Satan will hit us. He will hit from the blind side and take us at our weakest moment, and we never get past that vulnerability. The only thing we can do is come back to the Word and realize we have to be on guard constantly. In Eve's case, she was caught alone, in a moment of weakness, with no support from her other half.
