How many angels fell with Satan in his rebellion?

Scripture pictures the dragon's tail drawing a third part of the stars of heaven, and those stars represent the angels. At his rebellion, before Genesis 1-2, Satan evidently took a third of the angelic host with him, so the number who fell with him was one-third of all the angels.

Les explains that in Revelation chapter 12 the dragon is always a symbolic picture of Satan, and his seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns depict his power. Verse 4 says his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and Les asks who those stars were that Satan influenced — the answer being the angels. He places this at the time of Satan's rebellion, clear back before Genesis 1-2, in that interval when Satan rebelled against the authority of God and evidently took a third of the angelic host with him. In the same passage, the dragon stood before the woman, Israel, who was ready to be delivered, waiting to devour her child as soon as it was born — which is why the decree went out to kill all the boy babies under the age of two, to make sure this child born at Bethlehem was included. Israel was the vehicle through which the Messiah came, and her child was caught up unto God and to His throne, a reference to the Ascension.

Revelation 12:4

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
