What will the earth dwellers be told to make in Revelation 13?
The earth dwellers will be told to make an image, a likeness to the beast, identified as the Antichrist, the emperor of the revived Roman Empire. This image will be an idol, and the whole world will eventually worship it.
Les explains that the one deceiving those who dwell on the earth does it by miracles he had power to do in the sight of the beast, that is, the Antichrist, the emperor of the revived Roman Empire. He tells them to make an image, a likeness to the beast. Les thinks it will be an image or idol; he is not sure whether it is one or several, but the whole world is going to worship that image of the Antichrist.
