Is Israel a mountainous country?
Yes, Israel is a mountainous country. Its very center is a string of mountains and valleys. Many people, even some in high government authority, are unaware of this simple geography, but Scripture refers to 'My mountains' in the land of Israel. This is confirmed by the prophetic language.
Les explains that many people do not realize Israel is mountainous. He recalls reading an article about someone speaking to a high government official, possibly in the State Department, who did not know Israel was a mountainous country. He notes that the younger generation has not been taught geography as he was, and even people in places of high authority lack simple geography. But he affirms that yes, Israel is mountainous, with the very center of the country being a string of mountains and valleys. This matches the prophecy where God says He will call for a sword against the invaders throughout all His mountains. Les also ties this series of words to Revelation chapter 6.
