What happens to the rest of the lost people after the beast and false prophet are cast into the lake?
The rest of the lost do not go directly into the lake of fire. They will stand before the Great White Throne judgment, where they are given a moment and may even protest, saying they prophesied and cast out demons in His name. Christ will answer, "Depart from me, I never knew you."
Les teaches that after the beast and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, they are the first ones to inhabit the eternal doom of the wicked, without benefit of the Great White Throne judgment. The rest of the lost are going to stand before the White Throne and at least have their moment of time; they may even put up an argument. Jesus said that in that day they will say, "Lord, didn't we cast out demons, didn't we prophesy in Thy name?" His answer will be, "Depart from me, I never knew you."
