What happens to the Antichrist and false prophet after they are taken in Revelation 19?

At Revelation 19, the beast, identified as the Antichrist, is taken along with the false prophet. Both are cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. They become the first inhabitants of eternal doom, entering that lake of fire without the benefit of the Great White Throne judgment.

Les explains that Revelation 19:20 occurs at the end of the tribulation, after the horrible judgments, as it is time for the King and the Kingdom to come on the scene. The beast is the Antichrist, and he is taken with the false prophet. Les notes this is the only place the false prophet is named that way; elsewhere he is referred to as a personality, such as the lamb with two horns in chapter 13. Both are individuals and both are men. They are cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, and they are the first ones to inhabit the eternal doom of the wicked. They go there without benefit of the Great White Throne judgment. By contrast, all other lost people will stand before the White Throne and have their moment, and they may even argue, saying they cast out demons and prophesied in His name, but His answer will be, “Depart from me, I never knew you.”

Revelation 19:20

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
