What happens to the lost at the great white throne?
At the great white throne, the lost are drawn up before Him and stand speechless. Regardless of how many other gods they promoted or how much religion they practiced, they are sent to their doom because they refused to recognize who Jesus Christ really is.
Les explains that there may be a little animation when Jesus says in that day they shall say, "Didn't we do this, and didn't we do that?" But for the most part, when the lost person is drawn up before the great white throne, they will be speechless. No matter how many other gods they have promoted or how much religion they have practiced, they come up before Him speechless and are sent to their doom because they refuse to recognize who He really is. Les also notes the sadness of a world full of religion, even in western cultures that base much on the Bible, yet remain totally ignorant of who Jesus Christ really is.
