What will creation be delivered from, and what will it be delivered into?
Scripture declares that creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption, which is the curse, and delivered into the glorious liberty of the children of God. It was subjected to vanity not willingly, but in hope, because of Adam's sin.
Les explains that the creation was made subject to vanity, or the curse, not willingly. It was not creation's fault but Adam's—man's fault—that the curse came in. God immediately promised a Redeemer in Genesis 3:15, the seed of the woman, Christ. Then in verse 21, creation itself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption (the curse) into the glorious liberty of the children of God. This deliverance will be manifested when believers come into their place of glory.
