What will happen to creation when it is delivered from corruption?
When creation is delivered from the bondage of corruption, it will be restored to its condition before Adam fell. Wildlife will no longer fear other species or man, nothing will eat meat or kill for livelihood, and all things will eat what grows naturally. The children of God will gain control as Christ rules as King of Kings.
Les explains that the creation itself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption and restored as it was before Adam fell. Before Adam sinned, nothing ate meat or killed another species for its livelihood; everything ate what grew naturally—the grass, herbs, nuts, and berries. So it will be when the Kingdom is set up. Les points out that the children of God will gain control of creation; when a person becomes a believer, they become a child of God. All creation waits for the day when Christ will rule as King of Kings, and believers will rule and reign with Him, having dominion over the glorious new creation brought out from underneath the curse. Verse 22 says the whole creation groans and travails in pain until now.
