What will happen to creation when it is delivered from the curse?
The creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption—the curse—into the glorious liberty of the children of God. All creation will come under the rule and reign of the redeemed as joint heirs with Christ, completing what began when God promised a Redeemer after the curse fell.
Les explains that the creation was made subject to vanity—that is the curse—not willingly, but by reason of Him who subjected the same in hope. The moment the curse fell, God promised a Redeemer, and Genesis 3 verse 15 follows the curse. Verse 21 says the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, which is the curse again, into the glorious liberty of the children of God. All of creation will come under our rule and reign as we are joint heirs with Christ. Meanwhile, the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together under the curse, and even we who have the firstfruit of the Spirit groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption—the redemption of our body—which will complete it.
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
