What does God promise to do in Ezekiel 37:14?
God promises to put His Spirit within His people so they shall live, and He promises to place them in their own land. This follows His opening their graves and bringing them up out of dispersion, restoring them to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Les explains that in Ezekiel 37:13 God promises to open the graves of His people and bring them up out of their graves, which the context identifies as their place of dispersion. Then in verse 14 God promises to put His Spirit in them, so they shall live, and to place them in their own land. Les ties this to the Jewish people's lost hope, especially before and after World War II, and to the sovereign God who intervened. The land is the Jews' land, promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all Scripture declares it as their land.
And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
