What has been true of the Jewish people since A.D. 70?

Since A.D. 70, the Jewish people have been scattered among the Gentile nations, existing without a land, without an altar, and without a priesthood. This condition has marked them as a nation in its grave, out of the place of blessing for over 1,900 years.

Les explains that Ezekiel 37 is not about the graves in the Kidron Valley but about the nation of Israel scattered out among the Gentile nations, out of the land and therefore pictured as a nation in its grave. This has been the lot of the Jew ever since A.D. 70: without a land, without an altar, and without a priesthood. Les emphasizes that Israel was out of the land, the place of blessing, for over 1,900 years, but he also notes it is not going to stay that way.
