From whom and when did Paul receive the gospel he preached?

Paul received the gospel he preached directly from the ascended, glorified Lord. This revelation came after Christ's death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. He delivered what he first received: that Christ died for our sins and rose again according to the Scriptures.

Les explains that Paul received the gospel from the ascended, glorified Lord after Christ's death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. God revealed to this apostle of the Gentiles that salvation is not in the Law, works, repentance and baptism, but in believing the Gospel. Les emphasizes this Gospel is simple, yet its power is complex and received by faith. Paul delivered what he first received: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 15:3
