Will the final three and a half years be easy?
No. The final three and a half years will be anything but a Sunday school picnic. Although a remnant of Jews will flee to the mountains and be protected by God, the period brings Satan's wrath and God's wrath upon the whole human race, making it mind-bogglingly severe.
Les teaches that the final three and a half years are not easy. He calls it the Escaping Remnant: a remnant of Jews from every category of life will flee Jerusalem to the mountains, possibly Petra, and God will watch over and protect them for the whole three and a half years. Yet the whole seven years is tribulation, and this latter half is anything but a Sunday school picnic. Les explains that things really get tough when both Satan's wrath and God's wrath are poured out on the whole human race, and it will be mind boggling what the planet goes through. He points to Matthew 24:21 and compares it to the Flood, asking if that was an enjoyable experience.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
