What will Israel's final three and a half years be like compared to its past?
The final three and a half years will be a time of great tribulation, far greater than the first three and a half years and unequaled in Israel's history. It will be horrendous, causing tremendous loss of life through natural calamity, earthquakes, volcanoes, and cosmic disturbances.

It will be such as was not since the beginning of the age, nor ever will be. Israel's history has included horrible days, but none of that will compare to what they go through in these final three and a half years. Jesus said those days will be so horrendous and take so much life that unless they are "shortened"—meaning they end right on schedule, 1,260 days and another 1,260 days—no flesh would be saved. If they went another ten or twelve days, no one would survive. For the elect's sake those days end on schedule and are not prolonged, because there will be tremendous loss of life from natural calamity, earthquake, volcanoes, cosmic disturbances, and great meteor activity.
