What kind of Messiah are the rabbis expecting according to Les?

Les explains that when you read comments from some rabbis in the Jerusalem Post, the Messiah they are looking for is the perfect description of the man of sin. They expect a man who will rule the world in peace, elevate Israel to the epitome of all nations, and let all nations enjoy peace flowing from their Messiah ruling Israel. Les says this figure will come on the scene, sign a seven-year treaty, and the Jews will think they have finally arrived—no longer needing a tremendous military machine, able to lower taxes and enjoy domestic prosperity. But in the middle of the week he will cause all that to stop, turn on the Jew, and usher in the final 3 1/2 years. Les describes him going down to Jerusalem, probably from his headquarters in Europe, moving into the Temple complex, setting up his headquarters, defiling the Temple, and forcing the Jew to worship him as God. It will be like Hitler's Nazism all over again, only a thousand times worse.
