What do the Jewish people Les has spoken to look for in their Messiah?
The Jewish people he has spoken with look for a Messiah who is a man yet a superman—possessing military prowess, economic strength, charisma, and the ability to do everything they imagine a superman can do. They cannot comprehend that the Messiah will also be God. Such expectations describe the Antichrist.
Les explains that Jewish people have told him what they are looking for in their Messiah: they cannot comprehend that the Messiah is going to be God. They expect Him to be a man, but a superman—someone with a lot of military prowess, a lot of economic strength going for him, and charisma, able to do all the things they think a superman can do. Les tells them they are describing the Antichrist, but they do not see that. The context also says they will accept the false king first, and Israel will have no hope except the coming of their king, who will come.
