What event will reveal the Antichrist's true identity?

Les explains that Daniel 9:27 describes the Antichrist as the prince who shall come, a vile person and king of fierce countenance. This man will come with peace and prosperity on his platform and a charismatic personality that bows people over. The triggering event that reveals who he really is will be his signing of a seven-year treaty with the nation of Israel. Les maintains believers will not see this happen because it cannot occur until after we are gone. Daniel's prophecy covers a 490-year period from Nehemiah's return to rebuild Jerusalem's walls; 483 years were fulfilled just before the crucifixion, probably on Palm Sunday. Though there may have been a small interval before the final seven years, the Old Testament did not indicate this gap would stretch almost 2,000 years, yet those years will still be fulfilled.
