What signs show that the Antichrist's appearance is near?
Globalism in all its forms—global religion, global economies, and global government—is a sure sign the Antichrist's appearance is near. These global developments indicate the world is being prepared for the Antichrist as world ruler. Before that, believers will be caught up to meet the Lord.
Les explains that all creation waits for the manifestation of the children of God, which is the rapture—the Blessed Hope when believers are suddenly translated to be with the Lord. He notes that we don't set dates, but as we see globalism in all its forms, global religion, global economies, and global government, we know this is a sure sign we're getting very close to the Antichrist's appearance. The Antichrist will be the world ruler under that global environment. Before that happens, believers will be snatched away and caught up in 1 Thessalonians to meet the Lord in the air. Then the seven-year tribulation will be God's way of paying off Satan's mortgage.
