Who gives the Antichrist his throne, seat, and authority?
The dragon, identified as Satan, gives the beast—the Antichrist—his throne, his seat, and his authority. This satanic empowerment explains how this man will come on the scene satanically driven, and he will achieve his end by lying, deception, flattery, and charismatic personality.
Les teaches that this man will be corrupt, and he will achieve his end by lying, deception, flattery, and his charismatic personality, getting people to fall at his feet. The beast is described as like a leopard, with feet like a bear and a mouth like a lion, which connects back to Daniel's visions of empires, though John sees them in reverse order because he is looking back. Les emphasizes that the dragon, Satan, gave him his throne, his seat, and his authority, showing that this man will come on the scene satanically driven.
