Why can we trust prophecies in the Bible that have not been fulfilled yet?

We can trust unfulfilled biblical prophecies because the Bible alone contains predictive prophecy given hundreds or thousands of years in advance, and every fulfilled prediction has come true to the last jot and tittle. Since the same God fulfilled the first ninety percent, He will finish the remaining ten percent.

Les explains that the Bible is more right in what it teaches than the Koran, the Book of Mormon, or any other claimed guideline for doctrine because no other book written under heaven makes prophetic statements like the Bible. Those prophecies were given hundreds, even thousands, of years before they happened, yet they all come true, and what has not yet come true will come true. Teaching prophecy shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that this book is the Word of God. If prophecy has already been fulfilled to the last jot and tittle, as much of the Old Testament has been, then there is no reason to doubt that the rest will be fulfilled, because the same God who fulfilled the first ninety percent of prophecy will finish the last ten percent.
