Why should we have no reason to doubt that unfulfilled prophecy will come true?

Because the Bible's fulfilled prophecies have come to pass exactly, demonstrating it is God's Word. No other book makes such prophetic statements. The same God who fulfilled the first ninety percent of prophecy will faithfully complete the remaining ten percent, so unfulfilled prophecy is certain.

Les explains that the Bible is unique among religious books because it contains prophetic statements made hundreds, even thousands, of years in advance, and they all come true. What has not yet come true will come true. He points out that since prophecy in the Old Testament has been fulfilled to the last jot and tittle, we have no reason to doubt the rest. The same God who fulfilled the first 90 percent of prophecy is the God who will finish the last 10 percent. This is why teaching prophecy shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that this book is the Word of God.
