Why should we not doubt that the rest of Bible prophecy will be fulfilled?
The same God who fulfilled the first ninety percent of prophecy will finish the last ten percent. Since biblical prophecies were spoken hundreds or thousands of years beforehand and have come true to the last jot and tittle, what remains unfulfilled will also come true, confirming Scripture as God's Word.
Les explains that no other book makes prophetic statements like the Bible does, given hundreds or thousands of years before they happen, and they all come true. What has not yet come true will come true. This is why prophecy is taught: to show beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Bible is the Word of God. If Old Testament prophecy has been fulfilled to the last jot and tittle, then we have no reason to doubt the rest, because the same God who fulfilled the first ninety percent will finish the last ten percent.
