Who prompts everything that mankind accomplishes?
Satan prompts everything that mankind accomplishes. Scripture calls Satan the God of this world, and says the world lies in the lap of the wicked one. Whether mankind's accomplishments are good, beautiful, ugly, or bad, Satan has prompted them, and he has total dominion over the material world.
Les explains that Scripture makes it abundantly clear that Satan is the God of this world and that the world lies in the lap of the wicked one. He says everything mankind accomplishes, whether good, beautiful, ugly, or bad, has been prompted by Satan. Satan has total dominion, and God is not in the business of a material world. As an example, Les points to Matthew chapter 4, where the devil takes Jesus to an exceeding high mountain, shows Him the kingdoms of this world and their glory, and offers to give them to Him. Les notes that those things were Satan's to give.
