Why will Christ's kingdom be so glorious?

Christ's kingdom will be glorious because it will be a kingdom of one, with absolute power resting in Christ alone. There will be no confabs and no consensus, unlike human empires weakened by many decision-makers. This singular, uncontested rule makes His kingdom glorious.

Les explains that the great human empires pictured in Daniel chapter 2 became politically weaker as more people were involved in decision-making. Democracy may be loved, but getting things done can be difficult. By contrast, when Christ sets up His kingdom, it will be a kingdom of one. He will have absolute power, with no confabs and no consensus, and that is why it will be so glorious. Unlike Nebuchadnezzar, who was a despot and totalitarian with no concern for his subjects, Christ's singular rule is glorious.
