Les Feldick Bible Study

How does Les Feldick describe Western Europe today?

Western Europe today is described as an enlarged democracy, and democracies are weak. When people do not like the government, they fill the streets and demonstrate, and it falls. It has no real strength and consequently is inferior, lacking genuine strength.

Les explains that the same geographical and political area, Western Europe, is now called the European Community. It began with ten nations, has fluctuated, and he expects it to end up again with ten nations, identifying it as the revived Roman Empire and the ten toes, or ten nations. As he sees Western Europe today, it is an enlarged democracy, but democracies are weak: if people dislike the government, all they have to do is fill the streets and demonstrate, and down it goes. It has no real strength, and consequently it is inferior.
