What problems is Europe facing today according to Les?
Europe today is marked by turmoil and faces ethnic problems, immigrant problems, political problems, and economic problems. These difficulties set the stage for a future charismatic leader to arise from the old Roman Empire area, coming peaceably and with flatteries, as Scripture indicates.
Les teaches that when you look at Europe tonight, it has turmoil along with ethnic problems, immigrant problems, political problems, and economic problems. In the transcript, this troubled setting is connected to the rise of the Antichrist, who is to come out of the geographical area of the old Roman Empire. Les personally thinks he will come from Western Europe, while others think the Middle East or the Mediterranean, but either way he will come from that old Roman Empire region. Daniel says he will come in peaceably and with flatteries, and the context notes that if such a man suddenly appeared with charisma, Europe would be especially ready for him.
