Les Feldick Bible Study

Why are democracies weak according to Les Feldick?

Democracies are weak because they lack real strength; when citizens dislike the government, they can fill the streets and demonstrate, and the government collapses. This absence of internal strength makes such a system inferior, especially as Western Europe is described as an enlarged democracy.

Les explains that Western Europe today is an enlarged democracy, and democracies are weak. If people don't like the government, all they have to do is fill the streets and demonstrate, and down it goes. It has no real strength, and consequently it's inferior. He connects this to the revived Roman Empire, which started with ten nations and will end up again with ten nations, described as the ten toes, ten nations.
