Les Feldick Bible Study

Why are democracies weak?

Democracies are weak because they have no real strength and are inferior. If people don't like the government, all they have to do is fill the streets and demonstrate, and down it goes. This lack of strength makes democracy fragile and easily overthrown by public protest.

Les explains that Western Europe today is an enlarged democracy, and democracies are weak. If people don't like the government, all they have to do is fill the streets and demonstrate, and down it goes. It has no real strength, and consequently it is inferior. This is set within the discussion of the revived Roman Empire and the ten toes or ten nations.
