Les Feldick Bible Study

Why are democracies weak according to Les?

Democracies are weak because they lack real strength. If citizens dislike the government, they can fill the streets and demonstrate, and the government quickly falls. This makes such a system inferior and without real strength. So it has no genuine ability to stand when people collectively oppose it.

Les explains that Western Europe today is an enlarged democracy, and democracies are weak. If people do not like the government, all they have to do is fill the streets and demonstrate, and down it goes. Because it has no real strength, it is consequently inferior.
