How much longer will the misery in the world last?
The misery will not last much longer; it is just about over. The Lamb, Christ, comes before the Ancient of Days, takes the mortgage, pays off the curse, and ends it. He alone is worthy because of His death, burial, and resurrection.
Les explains that the world has been under the curse ever since Genesis chapter 3, and he asks how much longer the misery going on in the world will last. His answer is that it is just about over. Christ, as the Lamb, comes before the Ancient of Days and takes the mortgage from God the Father, saying He will pay it off. He will pay off the curse and Satan's mortgage, and He alone can do it because of His death, burial, and resurrection. Revelation 5 shows the four creatures and the four and twenty elders falling before Him and singing a new song, saying He is worthy to take the scroll and open its seals because He was slain and redeemed us to God out of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation, making us kings and priests who shall reign on the earth. Les teaches that the whole reason for the seven years of tribulation is how it will all happen, and Satan is going to have his final time.
