How many kingdoms are there in Scripture, and when and where will that kingdom be established?

Scripture presents only one kingdom. It is the kingdom of heaven, which will be established on earth when Christ returns to become King of kings and Lord of lords. Though it includes an inner spiritual relationship now, it is also literal, physical, and political, and will reach fruition at Christ's return.

Les teaches that all through Scripture there is only one kingdom, and it is the kingdom Christ will set up on earth when He returns to become King of kings and Lord of lords. He explains that Jesus' words about the kingdom being within you do not make it merely spiritual or invisible; rather, an inner spiritual relationship with God is necessary to become part of the literal, physical, political kingdom that is one day coming on the earth. That is why Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3 that except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of heaven. Les says this kingdom of heaven is going to be the kingdom on earth, the same kingdom. John the Baptist preached that the kingdom of heaven was at hand because Jesus was just around the corner, about to begin His earthly ministry, and He is the essence of the kingdom. So the kingdom is spiritual, physical, and political, and it will come to its fruition when Christ returns and sets it up on the earth.
