What did Nebuchadnezzar's dream image look like from head to feet?
The image had a head of pure gold, chest of silver, belly of brass, legs of iron, and feet of iron mixed with clay. It was a human torso-like statue, top-heavy and unstable because the densest metal, gold, was at the top and the lightest mixture at the bottom.
Les teaches that Nebuchadnezzar saw a huge image shaped like a human torso: the head was pure gold, the chest silver, the belly area brass, the legs iron, and the feet a mixture of iron and clay. He points out the specific gravity is heaviest at the top—gold has the highest density, iron and clay the lowest—so the image was top-heavy and had no stability. Les also notes that Daniel interpreted the dream with a stone cut out without hands, which Les identifies as Christ.
