What does Les say about the geography of the Sinai Peninsula?
The Sinai Peninsula is described as the most rugged and wilderness country imaginable, far out in the desert and miles from any civilized city. It was not a nice place to spend 40 years, and how Israel negotiated it is beyond understanding.
Les teaches that the geography of the Sinai Peninsula is extremely rugged and wild. He calls it way out in the wilderness part of the desert, miles from any civilized city, worse than what we call the boondocks. He recalls seeing pictures of the Sinai Peninsula years ago and says it is the most rugged, most wilderness country you could lay eyes on. He wonders how the children of Israel even negotiated it. He adds that it was not a very nice place to spend 40 years, and that Moses would have 80 years out there after 40 years tending sheep. He also notes that Mount Horeb and Mount Sinai are one and the same.
