Is anything in this world happening by accident?
No, nothing in this world happens by accident. All events are sovereignly unfolding as God has commanded them. Even when circumstances appear random or tragic, they are under God's sovereign direction. Faith recognizes that God is fulfilling what He has promised, working through every detail according to His will.
Les explains that nothing happens by accident; everything is sovereignly unfolding as God has commanded it. He points to Moses' parents, who hid him by faith, seeing with spiritual eyes that God would fulfill what He had promised. They took their chances, knowing God was working in that infant. Similarly, the Hebrew midwives feared God, and God dealt well with them, blessing them and making them houses while the people multiplied. So even in difficult circumstances, God's sovereign hand is actively at work, fulfilling His promises and directing all things according to His will.
