Do events happen by accident?
No. Nothing happens by accident. All events sovereignly unfold exactly as God has commanded them. Even when Moses was hidden by faith, his parents saw God's working in the infant, trusting that what God promised He would fulfill. History moves according to God's sovereign command, not random chance.
Les explains that nothing happens by accident—everything is sovereignly unfolding as God has commanded it. He points to Moses' parents, who by faith hid him three months, seeing with spiritual eyes that God would fulfill His promise. They recognized God's working in the infant. Likewise, the midwives feared God, and He dealt well with them, multiplying the people and making them houses.
