Does everything in history happen exactly as God predetermined it?
Yes. God before anything was created put everything in motion and had it all blueprinted. From the beginning of time until the end of His plan for the ages, everything falls in place exactly as He predetermined it, even though men and nations exercise free will.
Les teaches that this is God's plan for the ages. Before anything was created, the triune God put everything in motion and already had it blueprinted. He gave men and nations their free will; governments make decisions, invade other nations, and raise up navies and air forces. Yet from the beginning of time until the end of God's plan for the ages, everything falls in place exactly as God has predetermined it. Acts 2:23, in Peter's Day of Pentecost sermon, speaks of Jesus being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God. The Triune God in eternity past determined it, and in His foreknowledge He could see every detail coming down through history.
