Will God fulfill every covenant promise He made to Israel in Genesis?
Yes. God will bring to fruition all the covenant promises He made to Israel in Genesis. Israel is His covenant people, and He will fully fulfill every promise, protecting and preserving that nation even when outnumbered and surrounded by enemies.
Les teaches that God has delineated Israel as His covenant people and will bring to fruition all the promises He made back in Genesis. That is why the little nation is in the news every day and why, though outnumbered, nobody dares attack them. Les notes that Syria has been building up armed forces, and by practical reasoning Syria could overrun Israel quickly, but the Almighty God is holding everything in check. He points to 1967 and the Six-Day War, when Israel was invaded from four directions at once yet in hours turned the tide and destroyed the Arab armies. Les calls that the miracle working of a sovereign God, even though Israel was in unbelief. He also observes that Jacob went into a far country under God’s protection and blessing, yet Jacob himself was still an unbeliever, still the supplanter and deceiver.
