Will all of God's promises to the nation of Israel still be fulfilled?
Yes. The promises given to Israel, including covenant and prophetic promises, will all still happen. Every prophecy of God's Word is directed to Israel, and not one is given to the church. Present-day technology makes end-time fulfillment increasingly believable as it draws closer.
Les explains that Romans 9:4 lists the Israelites, to whom belong the service of God and the promises. He stresses that all Old Testament prophecy was written to Israel, and not a single prophecy is given to the church. He says not only the covenant promises but even the prophetic promises will still happen; everything God promised the nation of Israel is still going to happen. He adds that as this age continues, fulfillment gets closer, and present-day technology makes such prophecy believable—for example, Revelation's two witnesses in Jerusalem being seen by the whole world.
