Will everything God promised to Israel still happen?

Yes. Scripture teaches that all the promises—both covenant and prophetic—given to the nation of Israel will still come to pass. Every prophecy in God's Word is directed to Israel, not the church, and current events indicate these promises are drawing closer to fulfillment.

Les explains from Romans 9:4 that the Israelites were given the service of God, the rituals, and the promises. He stresses that the entire Old Testament is prophecy, prophecy, prophecy, and it is written to Israel—not the church. In fact, not a single prophecy is given to the church; all prophecies are directed to the nation of Israel. Paul is talking about not only the covenant promises but also the prophetic promises, and everything God has promised Israel is still going to happen. As we live in this age, we can see it getting closer and closer. Les tells his classes that all this prophecy would be hard to believe without our present-day technology, but suddenly it becomes believable. For example, Revelation speaks of the two witnesses dead on the streets of Jerusalem, who after three days rise from the dead and go up in a rapturous-like experience, and the whole world will see them go. Until satellite technology, that was tough to accept.
