Where did Rebekah tell Jacob to flee when Esau wanted to kill him?

Rebekah instructed Jacob to arise and flee to her brother Laban in Haran, located in Syria north of present-day Damascus. She told him to tarry there until Esau cooled off, though the stay actually turned out to be twenty years.

Les explains that Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him, and Esau purposed in his heart to kill Jacob after the days of mourning for his father. Rebekah got wind of this, sent for Jacob, and told him to obey her voice, arise, and flee to Laban her brother in Haran, up in Syria, north of present-day Damascus. She said to tarry with Laban a few days, maybe a week, two weeks, or a month, until Esau cooled off. But Les points out it turned out to be twenty years, and Rebekah never lived to see Jacob again.
