Why doesn't God have to prove anything to people?
God does not have to prove anything because He is sovereign. He has spoken, and He has every right in the world to expect mankind to believe it. Demanding proof reflects a lack of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God.
Les explains that the reason people are turned off by Christianity and do not want anything to do with spiritual things is that they are destitute of faith. Consequently, He has said that if we have not got faith, there is no way we can please Him, nor could Esau. The issue is not God proving Himself but man believing by faith.
