Where does Les believe the Antichrist will come from?
The Antichrist will come from the revived Roman Empire, specifically out of a federated United States of Europe. This view sees Western Europe as the fulfillment of that empire, and it rejects the idea that he will come from the Arab nations or the Muslim world.
Les explains that he feels the Antichrist will come up out of the United States of Europe, that is, the revived Roman Empire, which he sees Western Europe now fulfilling. He notes that others feel the Antichrist may come out of the Arab nations or the Muslim world, but he holds to the European federation view. In Daniel 9, this man Antichrist, the prince that shall come, will confirm a covenant with many Jews for one week—seven years—and the minute that seven-year peace treaty is signed, Israel will lay down her defenses.
