How will the Antichrist come on the scene according to Les?
Daniel speaks of the Antichrist coming on the scene with flatteries and political manipulation, not military force. He promises everything the world and Israel want to hear, guaranteeing Israel's borders, sovereignty, and enhancing temple worship, so the world welcomes him as the answer to all dilemmas.
Les explains that in Revelation chapter 6, verse 2, John sees a white horse whose rider has a bow but no arrows. Les equates that rider with the Antichrist, whom Daniel also describes. According to Les, the Antichrist will not come on the scene by military force but through flatteries and political manipulation. He will promise everything the world and the nation of Israel are waiting to hear: he will guarantee Israel's borders and sovereignty, and he will actually enhance their return to temple worship. Les says he does not know how this will happen, but he knows Israel will have the temple back for the first three and a half years. The world will think the Antichrist is the answer to all their dilemmas and will welcome him with open arms.
